Clarke Carlisle  

Clarke Carlisle is a former Premier League footballer with a vast wealth of experience across many sectors through to executive and governance level.

He played professional football for 17 years, over 550 appearances across all 4 leagues in England, and received England U21 international honours. He moved into broadcasting as a commentator and pundit for ITV, BT Sport and Absolute Radio amongst others, being a key part of ITV’s World Cup 2014 team in Brazil. During his playing career he was on the Management Committee of the player’s union, the PFA, for 10 years and was Chair of the Union from 2010-14.

• Kaleidoscope Plus Group Board of Trustees (5 years - 3 years as chair)
• Manchester FA Inclusion Advisory Board (2 years as chair)
• UCFB Advisory Board (3 years - overseeing the expansion of the university to their Etihad and Wembley Campuses)
 
Clarke has been at the forefront of addressing key social issues. He presented 2 award winning documentaries for the BBC, “Is Football Racist?” and the critically acclaimed “Football’s Suicide Secret”, the latter being seen as a watershed moment in addressing Mental Health within sport and society. More recently he was appointed to the Expert Advisory Panel for the government’s Fan-Led Review into Football Governance, working closely with the Chair, Tracey Crouch CBE MP, on the Player Welfare and ED&I strands of the report.

Carrie Carlisle  

Carrie Carlisle is a newspaper columnist with a background in broadcast and print media. She studied at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Carrie has a BA (Hons), a PG Dip and MA. Her early working life was spent as a university lecturer and teacher.

In 2010, Carrie began working as a TV Presenter. She first specialized in Lifestyle and Interactive Television, before moving into Sports Coverage, where she predominantly covered NFL.

Carrie has stepped back from Broadcasting to concentrate on working alongside her husband. She remains a football correspondent for the ABC Sports Show on BENTV, covering EFL, CAF, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and AFCON.

As well as the weekly Newspaper column she has written for the Trinity Mirror Group for the past seven years, Carrie is a regular freelance contributor to several U.K. online and print publications.

Carrie is the author of several eBooks and appears regularly on Radio and Television as an Alcohol Harm Reduction Expert
