About The Event

It’s been a challenging time for our local communities over the last 2 years, due to Covid and other uncertainties in relation to jobs, loss of holidays and financial pressures. People have been isolated for long periods of time, away from friends and family and this has caused a wave of mental health problems throughout the UK.

The NHS, already stretched to breaking point, has been placed under even more strain with the increased demand for mental health services and this will continue to grow unless we start social prescribing people to other therapies, services, and community projects that will support them and enable them to self-manage their Mental and Physical Wellbeing.

There is help out there. It’s Mental already provide a unique range of professional services and we are now looking to expand. We are working hard to bring together everything you need to start self managing your mental health issues in the workplace -a unique one day event at Bolton Stadium on Friday 3rd February 2023. We will be providing the unique opportunity to participate in a range of Wellbeing Coaching Sessions, Physical Activities, Holistic Therapies, Nutrition and an opportunity to get involved in community projects and interventions so you can see the huge variety of alternative services available. There will be demonstrations throughout the day and stands where you can purchase products and services. We will be hearing from some of the region’s biggest employers – the challenges they are facing, how they are dealing with mental health issues (what went well and what didn’t) and the effect of those interventions had on the workforce – an opportunity to build a business case for you to take action. There will be over 30+ Holistic treatments and therapies available including, Hypnotherapy, Acupuncture, Regression Therapy, Reflexology, Body Massages, Reiki Healing, Energy and Frequency treatments, EFT Tapping and many more...
