Noel Sharpe
Noel is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer at Bolton at Home and has been working in the sphere of social housing in the northwest at a senior level for over 20 years having previously worked in London for 10 years before that. Her experience spans all aspects of general needs and supported housing management, property asset maintenance and investment, regeneration and community investment and new homes development.
Noel has a keen interest in the health and wellbeing, and financial inclusion agendas and how these two very important factors can directly help to improve the lives of customers, communities, and neighbourhoods and currently chairs the Greater Manchester Housing Provider Group’s – Healthy Homes group.
More recently Noel has spearheaded the development of the Group’s “Greenworks” project aimed at upskilling the association’s existing workforce, to meet the challenges of retrofit and the carbon reduction agendas, but also the wider community to support the provision of new skills and employment opportunities for its customers.
The project will further provide physical business development and R&D space for new and entrepreneurial green business start ups and will work in partnership with other like-minded organisations focused on creating and supporting sustainable futures for the communities of Bolton and Greater Manchester more broadly focusing on issues such as sustainable food provision and environmental improvements.
