Meditation & Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
I’m Amelia Carruthers. I teach meditation and vinyasa yoga. Both the physical and philosophical aspects of yoga have been a massively positive force in my life, something that I love to share with others, building strength, confidence and self-awareness.
Ever since I discovered yoga (at the age of 15 in my local village hall), it’s something I’ve come back to time and time again. After commencing my own daily practice, I realised yoga’s transformative effects on body, mind and action. This inspired me to embark on my 200 Hour teacher training journey, qualifying as a registered Yoga Alliance Teacher.
In addition to being a student and teacher of yoga, I tutor in History and Philosophy as well as baking at a sourdough school and bakery. It’s a varied mix, with the guiding thread being careful study, observation, listening to the world around you and yourself (all of course with a bit of fun, play and experimentation). I look forward to learning together with you!
