She teaches relaxation and hypnotherapy techniques to combat stress, helping you to flourish in your life and career. Hypnotherapy can be used separately or as a part of the therapy process Hypnotherapy can deepen the therapy process and thus help clients make the desired changes in their life. It is a safe and natural way of using our inner resources to reorganise our thoughts and behaviours. The process is based on your willingness and motivation. There are absolutely no side effects of hypnotherapy. You can then also learn how to use self-hypnosis techniques, for example, to relieve stress and anxiety.
UK NHS website explains hypnosis as follows: "Hypnotherapy uses a deep relaxed state and goal-directed suggestions to help you towards your agreed goals, for example when you want to quit certain habit. You are fully in control under hypnosis and you don’t have to take on any of the therapist’s suggestions if you don’t want to. You can bring yourself out of the state during the hypnosis if you need. Hypnosis doesn't work if you don't want to be hypnotised."
One of her clients wrote about her hypnotherapy experience:
"I have also explored hypnotherapy with Mia and in one hypnotherapy session have been able to master a 16-year addiction. I was surprised at how different hypnotherapy was from my initial expectations – it is both led by me and performed on an entirely conscious level. Totally different to the perceptions I had about hypnotherapy that centered on someone taking control of my mind. It's just not like the movies!!" 32 YEAR OLD LADY
Besides her professional qualifications, she has also had her own experiences with mental health issues in the past. She had some traumatic experiences in her childhood and has experienced an anxiety disorder and depression. This has helped her better understand clients’ experiences. She has been given much positive feedback on this from her clients.
She is also experienced in working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
She is described by clients as skilled, warm, approachable, and sincere as well as able to challenge clients successfully to work through various challenges.
Mia offers her clients resources to read and exercises they can do between sessions to gain skills for well-being and permanent change. She is eager to educate her clients about the approaches she uses to help them gain transferrable skills and flourish in their lives. The CBT-REBT approach is effective and evidence-based, and aims for the client to gain skills making them their own therapist.

"Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.”
“My experience with CBT and Mia was great. Mia made me feel comfortable and safe with dealing with my problems. Furthermore, I felt like she really listened to me and had the knowledge and capability to help me. Hence, I can recommend her to anyone. As for the CBT approach, each of our session thought me something new and soothed me. Even at the worst times the session made me feel better. I also feel like my mentality has shifted a lot and that I am able to deal with my problems better.
You showed me another way of living, the strength to keep on going and hope when I was down. I am so grateful for meeting you and for working with you. I feel so much better about dealing with my own problems and I am so happy about that. Thank you so much!”

It is evident that Mia has extensive experience in CBT interventions. She is not just confident in her own knowledge, but she is also confident in the other person's abilities to overcome their difficulties. This provides an atmosphere of trust and support. I already recommend her to two of my close friends.

I can't thank Mia enough for her work with me. She taught me valuable life and coping skills during the hardest time of my life. Her knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and patience has helped changed my mindset permanently. She also helped me quit smoking after 17 years with hypnotherapy after I requested a couple of sessions. I would thoroughly recommend Mia. She is extremely personable and kind, with skills experience and tools to help guide you back to yourself and guide you forward through life
